The Itaca chair, designed by Maurizio Manzoni, is inspired by the myth of Ulysses and evokes the welcoming embrace of home. Its curved and shaped steel frame forms a continuous structural silhouette that defines the seat. The seat comprises a poplar plywood base with elastic straps and a curved round rubber backrest that wraps around the vertical rear uprights and the steel armrest.
