PAOLO BENEVELLI, 2021 — A table that stimulates perception, the result of deep technical research. To the eye, it seems smaller than it actually is. Tempering treatment is used to incorporate the top's circular finish into the glass itself. It fades from the deepest shades of black to transparency, chromatically integrating with its massive painted metal base. An extremely minimalist piece of furniture, Ghost aims to redefine edges and boundaries, fullness and emptiness. It is an emblem of the dualism that flows into the harmonic unity of matter. The top of the Ghost tables is made of extra-clear tempered glass 12 mm thick. The black shading effect in the central part is obtained by means of a very high definition digital printing process that makes it unalterable over time. The base of the tables is composed of a metal structure covered in black painted sheet metal and counterbalancing plates that, once inserted into the structure, ensure stability to the table.
