The Mistral came from a very unique idea: the charm of the natural symbiosis between man and beast that has forever characterised the life of horsemen, herdsmen or cowboys, including the European examples in the Mediterranean such as the cowboys of the Maremma or the gardian of the Camargue. The curves of the saddle form the leather backrest against which the cushions rest. Basic, simple components. Shapes kept to a minimum. The arched shape of the “Curve” version has different seat depths as its main feature. Ideal for large spaces or halls, however, it is also flanked by smaller, combinable modules and linear design. Mistral recalls the Mediterranean breeze, crossing through the coastal regions overlooking the northern Mediterranean, and the pastures where herdsmen and gardien, in saddle, guard the herds.
