The Versilia table is inspired by an architectural form. It is in fact characterised by a pair of longitudinal arches, each consisting of two thin components covered in leather and joined together in such a way as to become an actual beam. Between these two parallel arches which define the long sides of the table, is the top: a wooden “ribbon”, which folds over the short sides and creates the head ribs. A solid bridge structure which allows the creation of fully usable large tables, since the thin and angular legs represent a minimum encumbrance and allow free use of the space for the chairs along both bays of the table.
