Tactile by Casalgrande Padana is a collection of modular porcelain stoneware tactile paving slabs providing visually impaired pedestrians with information, warnings, and directional guidance, which can be detected underfoot (through studs and grooves) and through colour and luminance contrast (for partially-sighted people). This collection includes seven raised surface patterns in various colours and formats, allowing blind and partially-sighted pedestrians to acquire information about the surrounding environment and find the direction of travel.
