Overview The QuickSpan™ Locking Drywall Grid System, featuring the QuickSpan Support Clip, offers the longest unsupported spans and widest hanger spacing for drywall ceilings in corridor applications. Fewer Hanger Wires, Faster Installation, Lower Labor Costs. QuickSpan Cross Tees eliminates the need for hanger wires for unsupported spans up to 9' with 5/8” Drywall and 16" O.C. spacing. They are comprised of heavy-duty material for maximum rigidity and screw grip, a double-stitched web for added strength and torsional rigidity, along with a knurled face for easier screw installation. QuickSpan Locking Channel features pre-engineered locking tabs punched 8" O.C. that prevent lateral and upward movement of Cross Tees, as well as, carpenter’s marks for quick alignment. Cross Tees quickly twist into place for fast installation, without the need for screws, pop rivets, or crimpers. The QuickSpan Support Clip is designed to provide load-bearing support enabling spans up to 16' and allows for fewer hanger wires versus competition and supports wider spanning tee spacing at 24'' O.C. Proper installation is easy by simply snapping the clip to the cross tee and carrying tee, listening for the audible clip, then screwing into the carrying tee through the provided holes.
