Adewisi is an elegant moiré in Trevira CS. The colour is matched to Christian Fischbacher’s plain moiré Athenais. Each stripe of the textile has its own, unique moiré pattern. The fabric’s decorative stripes show off the great skill of the craftsman: the fabric is realized in one of the last historic factories that still utilizes old machines. The watermark-like grain of a real moiré is produced by the pre-treatment of the fabric with a comb and the subsequent high pressure treatment on a roll calender. Made by an Italian manufacturer, Adewisi’s design is particularly sophisticated because each stripe has its own, unique moiré pattern.
