AQUARELLE is a warp-print of a water-colour, painted in-house by Christian Fischbacher’s design team. By printing on the warp threads before weaving, slight shifts occur during the weaving process creating a watercolour effect in the direction of the warp. Combining traditional and modern techniques, the warp is digitally printed, before being drawn into a jacquard loom and woven. A specialist tumble finish ensures a buttery soft drape and handle to this flame-retardant, Trevira CS quality. An artful blend of shades creates a unique design, depicting a hazy, dreamlike, Asian-inspired landscape of rolling hills and trees punctuated by bursts of soft colourful shrubs. Available in 3 contemporary colours.
