DESCRIPTION
Stack is a singular object, a multifaceted tower imbued with a strong personality. Completely autonomous, it does not belong to any range and stands alone as a sculptural piece, dominating a room with its undeniable presence. Its polymorphous nature is expressed in its unstructured niches, whilst a sense of wonder and surprise is fostered as its appearance shifts with each rotation of its base. The niches escape Cartesian representation despite the best efforts of the eye and their relative positions in space remain a mystery. This kind of offset, made iconic by architects such as Frank Gehry, brings a touch of deconstructivist architecture to the living room.
