Concast provides a popular solution for warehousing and industrial building. Typically these buildings are large single storey areas, but they can easily accommodate a first floor or mezzanine level. They are ideal for structures which require a high degree of flexibility, with single or multiple bays. Generally these frames consist of pre-stressed beams with a 4’ pitch roof, which can economically achieve clear spans of up to 36m. The benefits of these frames are large clear spans, less columns due to the longer bays, which also decreases the foundation requirements. The columns can be designed to support overhead gantry cranes. They are virtually maintenance free. Also hygiene ledges where dust and dirt congregates are minimised, which ideal for high precision industries such as food is processing or high technology plants
