The NF E 85-016 (November 2020) standard authorises the installation of pivoting intermediate rest platforms if an offset platform cannot be installed. Indeed, certain infrastructures (tanks, chimneys, buildings, etc.) do not have enough space to install a ladder with an offset flight. On installations served by fixed ladders, our pivoting platforms combine safety (easily operated by hand when climbing up and with a foot pedal when climbing down) and aesthetics (small dimension).
