Culligan Aqua HE cabin softener is a device specifically for the removal of hardness (Calcium and Magnesium), by means of exchanger resins selected and suitable for contact with water for food use, strong cationic type in sodium cycle sodium, normally regenerable with sea salt.
The motorized piston control system consists of a valve made of corrosion-resistant material, controlled by an electronic control unit that allows the regeneration to be started in the following modes:
- timed
- volume of treated water
- volume of treated water with timed regeneration (domestic volume)
The control valve is equipped with a bypass that allows the bypassing of the softening system from the water supply.
Through the bypass it is possible to use hard water when required, without wasting the availability of softened water, saving on salt consumption.
The container is made of non-toxic plastic material.
The food-grade cationic resin exchanges the limestone contained in the water.
Once saturated, the resin is regenerated with salt to restore the exchange capacity original.
The salt tank filling device, which is time-operated, is equipped with a brine valve with a
float safety system and overflow fitting full, to be connected to the drain, to prevent any possible water leakage from the salt container.
