Overview
The Simplify Control Unit is the central controller and gateway of the Simplify monitoring solution. It collects sensor data over an ISM 868 MHz wireless network and transmits it in real time to the Simplify Dashboard, accessible from PC, tablet and smartphone. The unit forwards data to the cloud for remote monitoring and can send control commands to switch connected equipment on or off. Connectivity options include 2G GSM (quad band) with a world-wide roaming SIM or Ethernet/LAN. Local data buffering prevents loss if GSM connectivity fails and the unit automatically restores the GSM connection when available. An internal backup battery provides approximately 12–15 hours runtime if 230 VAC is lost.

Installation

• Use the Simplify App (Android / iOS) to configure the unit on-site by scanning the QR code on the device
• Scan and name each sensor individually in the App; devices are registered to the Simplify Dashboard
• Unit will select the strongest GSM network automatically when powered or use Ethernet/LAN if connected
• LED indicators show when sensors are connected and communication is operational
• After a job, archive data to the Simplify Dashboard via the App and prepare the Control Unit for the next assignment
