A fat, juicy bubblegum sticking against a ceiling, which someone tried to remove again, that’s the GUM. Doubtless the location and the shape of the thing called to the minds of Swedish architects Claesson, Koivisto and Rune their most early schooldays and doubtless this GUM tells us that the three designers are still longing for those days to come back. Only, this GUM has grown up a bit: for instance, it’s made out of solid polyester, and it’s available in glossy black and white. All other colors are available too, but only on demand. GUM can be used for restaurants, hotels, bars and public spaces.
