A feature sculptural luminaire with presence, emitting a diffused neutral light. Wing was part our ‘Icarus’ installation design based on the Greek myth about the boy who flew too close to the Sun. With wings we can soar effortlessly in balance. If we get too greedy and try to fly too high we may lose that balance. The full installation was first shown at the Milan design fair in 2011 and was later purchased by the Pompidou Centre in Paris for its permanent collection. This light can float comfortably at home above a dining table or in a commercial interior.
