The Andon collection overturns the classic concept of coffee table, in which the tabletop is the functional value of the object, by transforming the frame into a lamp illuminating everything around it, thus converging with the Japanese tradition of sleeping and sitting on the floor. Conceived for the outdoors, in a round and square version, the parchment of this coffee-table-lamp is completely waterproof, just like the tabletop in black enamelled lava stone, or white pitchstone, with the texture of Nerosicilia. Andon can also be selected as a coffee table without the lighting, and the composition’s dynamism can be enhanced by matching additional shapes, shades and frames.
