Sheet metal candle holder SHADOW

Inventor and designer Alexander Lervik have for as long as he can remember been affected by light and darkness. His relationship with the light and the lack of it during the long Swedish winters has been a never-ending source of inspiration throughout his career. At first, Alexander had no idea what his candleholder would look like. All he knew was that he wanted the shadow cast by its form to be in the shape of a star. He experimented and eventually created Shadow. Light the candle held by Shadow and a distinct star is formed, as the candle burns its shape will grow bigger and bigger. Since Alexander Lervik designed Shadow for Gallery Pascale in 2004 we’ve had our eyes on it. And that is why we are we happy to further develop and keep this design classic alive in our own collection.
