Inspired by Chinese landscape painting traditions and intimate moments in the Oriental garden, this collection invites you to discover velvets such as a wave-patterned elegant cut velvet which allows you to pause for reflection on the riverbank, whilst others provoke the mysteries of the majestic landscapes as mists surround a mountain summit, created through spray-dye techniques which provide a visual of nature’s changing moods. Innovative velvets following the theme of landscape and flora, some jacquard woven, some printed and some a combination of the two techniques. All have a wonderful soft handle and surface effect yet are immensely practical. The collection also includes new colours of our fabulous shaded linen design Padua, but this time based on natural rather than white linen grounds for softer tones ideal for cool, contemporary interiors.
