Microventilation system Our standard windows have a tilt and turn leaf with microventilation system; this guarantees regular and continual air exchange, which prevents excessive room cooling. This system not only prevents humidity and the formation of moulds, but also allows odours, dust and bacteria to exit and reduces heat dispersion. To activate microventilation, just turn the handle to the intermediate position, between leaf open and leaf tilted. Even if the leaf is open a few millimetres only, safety from burglaries is guaranteed as if it were fully closed. Security against break-ins A Secustik handle is added standard, with a locking mechanism for built-in safety. This stops the hardware from being opened from the outside. If requested the windows can be RC3 certified, the highest level of protection against break-in attempts currently available for PVC hardware. Design You can decide whether to choose round profiles for a more classic style or squared profiles for a modern touch so as to harmoniously combine your new windows with your home furnishings. The reduced central mullion more light favours natural lighting and gives a better view. For an essential design, you can choose hidden hinges - in addition to turning the casing/frame into a work of art (the window becomes a painting), they make cleaning easier and faster.
