Acrylic sheet of wall decoration, hand-coated with urushi lacquer and silver foil. The pattern on the surface is SAKURA, one of the 9 patterns that urushi creates during the process of drying. Can be screwed into the wall. Light weight. The design reminds us of obi sash, used for traditional kimono. Urushi lacquer has been actually used in Japan over 9000 years as an excellent coating, and it has a very Japanese image, but goes well with Western design too.
