Pure, sober, round and deceptively simple, Jacques is reminiscent of the modernist, uncluttered and richly crafted lines of the Art Deco style. The period when French style invented the symbiosis of rigour and refinement. Jacques is a cabriolet armchair. As a tribute to the designer-decorator Jacques Emile Ruhlmann, it imbues the sober and supple lines of the 1920s; their elegance by setting the full-grain leather or northern linen seat in an oak bezel, and their opulence by offering uncompromising comfort with its feather cushion.
