Description

If you are looking for flooring tiles you must have in mind some aspects. First, natural stone tiles such as granite are typically finished with a sawn and then sandblasted, flamed or honed surface to be more slip resistant. Second, The hardness of natural stone tiles varies such that some of the softer stone (e.g. limestone) tiles are not suitable for very heavy traffic floor areas. On the other hand, granite stone floor tiles support any weather conditions and heavy traffic, of course the thicness should be adapted to the project and function of the material. Third and last, a variety of finishes can be applied to tiles stone to achieve diverse architectural and aesthetic effects in the art of tiling. These finishes include: polished finish, that gives the surface a high luster and strong reflection of incident light (almost mirror-like). A honed finish provides a smooth, satin and nonreflective surface. More textured finishes include bush-hammered, sandblasted and flamed. A bush-hammered finish, similar to a houndstooth pattern, creates a rough, but uniformly patterned surface with impact tools varying in coarseness. A sandblasted surface provides an irregular pitted surface by impacting sand or metal particles at high velocity against a stone surface. A flamed finish produces a textured, nonreflective surface with only a few reflections from cleavage faces, by applying a high-temperature flame. Stone tiles international exportation increase every year because is a product with excellent customer satisfaction. We can produce tile giant and tile small sizes.
