Overview
The Dyson W1 PencilWash™ wet-and-dry cleaner combines a slim, grab-and-go design with powered roller cleaning for sealed hard floors. Lightweight handling and a flexible steering system allow access under low furniture while delivering streak‑free finishes and efficient debris removal.

All-in-one, wet and dry cleaning

• Removes dry debris, wet spills and stains in a single pass.
• 84,000 microfibre filaments agitate and absorb mess by capillary action.
• Durable nylon bristles integrated into the roller lift and collect hair, including wet hair.
• Anti-tangle comb positioned behind the roller prevents hair (up to 35 cm) from wrapping during cleaning.
• Streak-free mirror finish: highly absorbent roller reduces streaking and leaves floors drier.
• Always uses clean water: dirty water and debris are removed from the roller on every rotation so only clean water is applied to the floor.
• Two power modes: Standard for everyday use and MAX for intensive spot cleaning.

Hygienic maintenance

• No dirty filters: removes dry and wet dirt without relying on a filter, reducing expelled bacteria and odours.
• Waste is stored on the cleaner head and held at the machine base for hygienic disposal; no sludge remains in internal pipes.
• Dry and wet dirt are separated to simplify disposal.
• Quick emptying: dirty water tank and debris tray remove in a single action (approx. 20 seconds).

• Ultra-slim, self-propelled roller rotates to assist smooth forward motion across hard floors.
• Steers and swivels for precise cleaning; ergonomic 38 mm handle for comfortable control.

Usage notes
