For applications where a smooth continuous transition between the ceiling and the wall is needed. The Access frieze is developed for installation together with Ecophon Access panels. The frieze is connected to the wall without any visible trims. The bevelled edges create a narrow groove between each tile. The tiles are not demountable. The system consists of Ecophon Access frieze tiles and Ecophon Connect grid systems, with an approximate weight of 3 kg/m². The tiles are manufactured from high density glass wool. The visible surface has an Akutex™ FT coating and the back of the tile is covered with glass tissue. The edges are painted. For best performance and system quality, use Ecophon Connect grid and accessories. The grid is manufactured from galvanized steel. Creating a smooth transition between Access system and wall. The Akutex™ FT surface in combination with the glass wool core provides optimal sound absorption. To prevent damage to the surface, the absorbers should be installed out of reach. Compared to Akutex™ T, the average pore size is less than half, with the number of pores being doubled, but the superior acoustic properties are still retained. With the smaller pores, the product is even more dirt repellent, making the surface easier to clean.
