Outer layers of polypropylene and Inner layer of microporous polypropylene.
High mechanical properties.
Temporary protection for timber frames against wind, rain, snow and dust.
Suitable for cold and warm roofs.
Application: an underlay for use in tile or slate roofing to protect against wind-driven rain, snow and dust and to minimise wind loading on roof covering. Contributes to eliminating risk of condensation in roof space when installed in accordance with BS 5250 and Agrément Certificate 20/5720.
Suitable for use in wind zones 1 - 2, or 1 - 5 with taped laps.
Installation: Suitable for warm or cold roofs. For use fully supported over rigid sarking or insulation or unsupported over rafters or roof trusses at maximum 600mm centres and a maximum batten spacing of 450mm. Where counterbattens are used, these should be minimum 50 x 25mm in section.
Minimum horizontal laps for use unsupported should be 150 0 0 mm for roof pitches 35.
Vertical laps should be at least 100mm. The roof covering should be installed no later than 8 days after the installation of the underlay.
