Description

THE « TUILERIES » COLLECTION, THE REFERENCE Both romantic and urban, our Tuileries collection finds its origin in a model made in 1923 in the City of Paris’ workshops for the Parisian parks and gardens. Its clean, simple and timeless lines still delight passers-by in ‘Le Luxembourg’ garden, ‘Les Tuileries’ garden… THE AUTHENTIC HISTORICAL CHAIR OF THE PARISIAN PARKS After renewing the chairs and armchairs spread in ‘les Tuileries’ garden, for the Louvre museum, Edmond & Fils then used its know-how again, to produce for the French Senate, the favorite chair of the Parisian and tourists for the Luxembourg garden. Made from sheet metal and tube, our 100% steel chair is visually identical to the one from the roaring twenties’ Paris, even though technically, it has been reshaped to improve its resistance to time. To make sure we answered the various needs, the collection has been enriched by complementary furniture such as footrests, benches, tables… all designed by our research office. A COLLECTION THAT INTEGRATES ANY SURROUNDINGS Institutions desirous to provide a relaxation area, to arrange the terrace of a café or restaurant, to equip a park or a castle, draw on us and we determine together the disposition of the various models, the customization and select colors in harmony with the atmosphere of the place.
