The three staircases in this residence in Holten, show how versatile EeStairs can be when asked to design, make and install stairs – in this case, an elegant helical feature staircase, a tight spiral, and a very simple and functional spiral metal staircase down to the basement EeStairs worked closely with the architect for the residence, Gerard van Halen. The white-painted spiral staircase has an outer steel balustrade and handrail, and rotates around a steel column. The open treads appear to be made of wood – but because the stairs are exposed to the weather, EeStairs made the treads with PVC, coloured and patterned to look like teak.
