A museum chronicling the history of the Dutch province of Overijssel needed a statement connecting its ground and first floors. The resulting staircase resembles the shape of a wave, featuring timber treads matching the interior’s flooring. A similar wood forms the handrail which is mounted on a curved glass balustrade.
