Description

1m2™ by EeStairs The 1m2™ stairs are extremely space-efficient and were created by EeStairs’ to give easy access to previously unusable spaces in homes or other kinds of building – which improves their human and property values. For example, 1m2™ stairs are typically used to make connections to newly created living, sleeping or office spaces. The key design breakthrough is that these helical stairs take up only 1m2 of floor or ceiling area. They are precision-made in steel and the innovative design features a very slightly slanted central with column with an integral handrail. The slant allows the treads to be wider than in a strictly vertical spiral or helical staircase, but without increasing the ultra-small plan area. Space saving stairs for small homes and limited spaces 1m2™ stairs meet relevant use regulations and are strong enough to safely carry loads of more than 270 kilos (600lbs). And, crucially, they are also remarkably light, which means they can be installed rapidly.
