PORTICO is a collection of furniture inspired by architecture, characterized by an 'U' shape structure built in curved multi layered wood.Conceived as a set of modules, PORTICO can be extended almost indefinitely in length, at the same time, there are two main heights that define the proportion of the cabinet. In the case of a high cabinet, a base is added, made of the same wood essence and the rest and in the low version the base is removed.The structural elements, as well as the shelves, and the triple arc in the open structure version, are always in wood essence, natural or dyed. When the furniture becomes a cabinet with doors, these have a glossy lacquered finish. In the open version, the furniture is finished on both sides, which allows the piece to be used not only as étagère, but also as a partition.PORTICO is a furniture piece with a strong character which draws it's lines from the architecture and radical design of the 80's, in perfect combination with the technology of curved wood, the DNA of Emmemobili, along with the contemporary language of international interior design.
