This table is light and stylish with a hand-made base made out of carbon fiber tubes, like Gustave Eiffel’s metallic structures. The table top is made out of laminated wood and carbon fiber ensuring it is both rigid and light. Care of carbon surfaces: Just dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Care of wood surfaces: Do not place hot, heavy, sharp or damp objects directly on the surface since they may create rings or pressure points. Clean off spilled liquids immediately. Don’t ever use pressure when rubbing an area. Don’t let liquid be absorbed into the wood to avoid spots. Not much everyday care is required. Just dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth in the direction of the wood fibers. Don’t use microfiber cloths, steam cleaning or cleaning pads since they all contain fine particles. That could damage the surface. Be sure that your dishes (plates, cups, …) are always polished, otherwise they can scratch the surface of your furniture. If needed, varnished surfaces can be cleaned (not bleached) with water by adding a bit of simple, uncolored dishwashing liquid. Don’t use detergents, polishing products or abrasive agents. Then dry the surface immediately with a soft cloth.
