DESIGN WITH RESPECT FOR THE ROOM SOFT SHAPES To the design duo Ernst & Jensen, good design equals organic shapes and is created with respect for the room that it is intended to live in. In 2013, the two designers created the table Insula Base. The table is available in three sizes and blends perfectly into most rooms because of its soft shapes. MODERN AND FLOATY The design of the table has a construction that provides a light expression, where it looks as if the table top is almost floating. The matte laminate table top not only has amazing utility, but also adds texture to the table. The table is available in either black or white, which gives it a very modern look. Ernst & Jensen think a good design is a piece of furniture that has been examined down to every detail. This mentality is clear to see with the Insula Base, where the table top is finished off with an open border. FOR THE SMALL ONES AND THE LARGE ONES Insula Base comes in three sizes, one of them with a table top diameter of 81cm, one of 107cm and one of 148cm. The three different sizes make the table suitable for most homes, no matter if it is for the small city apartment or for the room that should house many sitting guests.
