Design staircase from the Graphic Collection with risers installed in an Architect's home. Ligna Nanoacoustic® treads in smooth sheet metal for soundproofing of this all metal staircase. Risers with straight horizontal lines that allow for transparency, light and shadow effects. L-shaped stringers for a contemporary design look. The handrails are entirely made of flat iron: handrail, rails parallel to the slope that follow the curves of the curved shape and vertical uprights with rectangular cutouts. Ramps conform to French standards NF P01-012. A guardrail at the back of the staircase protects the rectangular hopper of the tiled staircase coming from the basement. Identical to the railing, it does not comply with the standards. To make it compliant, it would be necessary to add a solid base of minimum 350 mm at 100 mm from the ground. It is possible to make the same cut-outs on the base of the railing as on the risers to create a coherent whole. The staircase is installed between the entrance and the master suite on one side of the large living areas: living room, dining area and kitchen. Finish shown: raw steel with a patina for an elegant ironwork finish.
