Special event inflatable structure Nube 3

Nube 3 is an invitation to action, challenging the traditional curved geometries of inflatable structures. Its 16x16 meter square floor plan conceals five hidden access points on each side, creating a free-flowing space with twenty entryways that dissolve hierarchies and allow unrestricted movement. Inside, a forest of multicolored tensioners divides the space into a grid of habitable cells. These tensioners adjust the height of the hypostyle hall, shifting Nube 3 from a series of four-meter rectangular vaults into a vast dome when the central cords are released. Designed for interaction and transformation, Nube 3 invites play, challenging its apparent stability and revealing an inverted reality where columns become ropes and air becomes architecture.
