A trip to our archive led to the discovery of this striking 1929 wallpaper design by Vally Wieselthier, the head ceramist of the Wiener Werkstätte. A stylized large-scale geometric pattern animated by circus figures and screen-printed on a flat ground, this unique wallpaper retains the original’s restrained palette and graphic modernist aesthetic.
