Description
Working with architectural firm Lehman Smith McLeish, Fabric Architecture has designed a 3-bay barrel vault structure providing all-weather protection to the roof garden.
While the structures steel and framework is permanent, the canopy is designed to be removed and stored during the winter months. With this being a rooftop, all elements of the structure have been engineered for 100+mph wind loads (down force and uplift) along with snow loading.
Fabric Architecture is looking forward to working with General Contractor HITT Contracting Inc again. We completed a previous project in Washington with HITT Contracting at IMF (International Monetary Fund) covering their nursery play area with a series of canopies.
