A rich burgundy
The deep blackened pigmentation of our Eating Room Red gives a rich burgundy finish with a wonderfully aged feel. This, our most elegant red, takes its name from the colouring of the red damasks so popular in dining rooms in the mid-19th century and reads almost like a saturated purple if you compare it to the more modern looking Incarnadine.
Recommended Primer & Undercoat: Red and Warm Tones

Key features
Audited and ethical supply chain
Making the very best paint and paper possible starts well before the factory. That’s why we’re meticulous about who we work with. From sourcing raw materials to delivery, all of our suppliers have to follow our strict Code of Conduct.
Being a manufacturer puts us in a privileged position: we know exactly what goes into our products and exactly where it comes from, all the way back to raw materials. Not all paint brands make paint from scratch, they buy a base paint and add a colour tint. These brands are one step further away from the process and have to try and investigate how their suppliers’ suppliers behave.
Water based with A+ Indoor air quality rating
We’re proud to have been the first in the industry to transition to a completely water based range back in 2010. As a result, all of our finishes, including our tough trim and floor paints, are made with a low-odour, low-VOC water base that scores A+ for indoor air quality.
Plus, our water based paint doesn’t discolour over time like solvent based paints can. So your spaces stay beautiful for longer.
