Modular, versatile and sustainable. The multi-layered birchwood frame is Young’s distinctive feature. It combines in fact a high degree of flexibility with excellent resistance and offers many solutions for all types of space thanks to the large number of sections available. Young is a new concept sofa that draws its inspiration from the principles of levity, versatility and sustainability. at the core of its innovation is the multilayered birchwood frame, which is perforated to ensure constant aeration. Armrest and backrest frame made of low formaldehyde emission particleboard. Reinforcement parts made of wood fibre and solid fir wood bolted to the base panel perforated to house the cushions and armrests. Multi-layered birch panel (30 mm thick) with perforations to remove humidity and facilitate air circulation in the cushions. A painted metal bar bolted to the panel is designed to reinforce the base, avoiding the need for a central leg. All the padding is made of non-deformable polyurethanes free of SVHC substances, certified to be non-toxic. Seat cushions made of non-deformable D32-D20S double density polyurethane foam; back cushions made of D18S; armrests made of D30. All covered in a 300 g layer thermo-bonded to 100% polyester needle-punched fabric, covered with 100% polyester resin cover fixed to the structure bonded to 100% polyester velveteen. Aluminium feet available in the following finishes: chrome, matt white, matt coffee. Complete with non-slip rubber pads H 160 mm.
