THE MONOSTRATO VULCANICO OF ETNA is a non-slip floor conceived and put in place by FIMAS in Riposto (Catania) – Italy for over 35 years. It has always used state of the art production technologies.It is made in a whole homogeneous with machinery and technologically advanced systems, capable of giving very high pressure to the basic material making it very compact, not very absorbent, no frost, shock resistant and resistant to compression. It is composed of a single homogeneous pressed body (300 kg/cmq) using supercements (R = 52.5) and volcanic material from Etna (ETNA SERIES) or granulated Sicilian marble (B.S SERIES). Its use is excellent for exteriors, interiors and coatings. THE MONOSTRATO VULCANICO OF ETNA satisfies all the technical requirements demanded by Law for outdoors floors (Marking CE - UNI EN 13748-2). Thanks to its toughness, its colors, its refined making, its versatility, it can be defined a timeless product far from the latest fashion. It’s a newsworthy option to natural stones.
