Ahoi, while reminiscent of a heavy cotton fabric, is woven from a spun compact-yarn in Trevira CS. This type of yarn is less hirsute than other yarns, which leads to the even surface of the fabric. The summery multi-colour stripes are realised as a digital print and finished using a chintzing process. The soft feel results from an additional Airo finish. Ahoi is woven in Switzerland and printed and finished in northern Italy. It is colour-matched to Christian Fischbacher’s plain fabric Applaus.
