The Ishilangu carpet gets its name from a shield carried by the Zulu people in Africa. The two semi-circles assembled into an oval are reminiscent of the shield in its typical oval form. Ishilangu boasts a silky sheen and soft pile, evoking a luxurious feel when walking on it. BENU® SEA carpets are tufted with Monsilk yarn, which is made from upcycled plastic waste from the sea and has the characteristics of a high-quality polyester yarn: it is supple, has high colour brilliance, gives the carpets a silky sheen and is easy to care for. The handtufted BENU® SEA carpets are available in four single-colour versions with 36 shades to choose from. They can be made in custom shapes and sizes on request.
