Description

PEONY is an alluring silk weave suitable for drapes, crafted from the finest hand-spun Tussar silk and embroidered with a viscose yarn in a graceful peony design. Chosen for its intricate characteristics, the raw silk creates a surface structure full of textural and tonal variation which add to the quality’s handcrafted aesthetic. A highly textured weave, the weft yarn used is so voluminous that it counts only 4 yarns to the centimetre. The gossamer warp barely covers these, allowing the weft yarns to stand out to create a purposely irregular fabric. Stylised peonies trail across this detailed embroidery design. Coloured in a palette of three jewel-like tones. It is recommended that this curtain fabric is lined.
