FITT Blu Sky® is the innovative polyethylene screed sheet with high vapour barrier properties and resistant to tearing, lacerations and punctures. The result of extensive technical know-how and state-of-the-art production technologies, thanks to its increased elasticity, FITT Blu Sky® guarantees very high quality standards and extreme ease of installation. The FITT Blu Sky® PE sheet acts as a sliding and separating layer between the elements that make up the flooring surface, reducing friction during shrinkages or expansions. Thanks to its vapour barrier properties - tested by the Department of Chemistry of the Polytechnic of Turin and the Giordano Institute, FITT Blu Sky® -, protects the floor from rising damp, prevents the expulsion of concrete floor surface fragments and protects the underlying screed from water infiltrations caused by rain or frequent washing. FITT Blu Sky® also avoids the detachment of the continuous waterproof resin surface coating layers, caused by the pressure of the vapour build up between the concrete and the resin.
