The Gustav console table is inspired by Scandinavian antiques, a rich source to reference. Gustavian furniture is a title that covers an interior style initiated in Sweden under the reign of King Gustav III in the eighteenth century. Impressed with the cultural extravaganza of Versailles, he introduced the classic French style in the North.
