OverviewThe BAO sculptures (Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3) are crafted from solid ash wood and hand-finished to preserve softly contoured shapes and continuous lines. The stained ebony surface provides a dark finish that emphasizes the wood's texture while keeping natural veining visible, suitable for contemporary interior architectural projects such as lobbies, reception areas and showrooms.
DesignStacked in an apparently impossible balance, the wooden blocks create a visual tension between positive and negative space. The compositions read as harmonious, dynamic presences that can engage in visual dialogue with surrounding architecture and furniture layouts.
