THE ROTATING FIREPLACE Hanging out with friends, getting warm by the fire or cooking together. Fumotto is an adjustable wood fireplace to be easily installed everywhere in outdoor environments. The fireplace revolves around its coloured grit base to allow for the best possible operation when downwind-adjusted. THE WARMTH OF WOOD The cloak part is a high cone where the metal frame is functional to the fire. This is a unique solution for placing firewood within a fireplace as well as to convey and expel combustion fumes upwards. Fumotto is available in two metal-based versions. You can either choose the matt black painted steel or the Cor-Ten - a special steel-like material with great mechanical resistance and specificity against corrosion. No particular adjustment is required for this fireplace: you only need to place it on the ground, balance its position and feed it with firewood. CONCEPT Structurally designed as a cape or a cloak holding and wrapping up the fire to convey the fumes up into its lapel, Fumotto is shaped and carved out of a single, sturdy iron sheet turning into a fireplace. A stainless-tube belt/handle is used as a grip to spin the fireplace around a cement grit base, and choose the proper orientation or get the best wind conditions. A pin connects the overlapping cloak flaps and adjusts fire intensity through a Bakelite knob that prompts the valve to draw up the fumes. Fumotto is a fireplace merging structure and function in a single solution, which can be transformed into a handy barbecue by means of a special grill kit.
