Building on the popularity of the seating range, the contemporary RailRoad planter is the latest addition to the RailRoad family. It is available as a standalone item, or combined with RailRoad seating designs, to create modular integrated planter seating. The planter is a plain steel planting container with a double course decorative timber top rim that visually softens the product. It is made from folded heavy section steel plate in a polyester coated finish with a GRP waterproof lining, as standard. The RailRoad planter is a rigid, durable construction, designed to stand the test of time. MATERIALS AND FINISHES: Zintec steel container - polyester powder coated external finish to any RAL colour Iroko hardwood timber top rim - smooth planed finish GRP waterproof lining OPTIONS Bespoke size planters Independent planters Connector brackets to adjoin seating platform Oiled iroko slats INSTALLATION: Planters can be lifted into place via straps wedged between the main body and plinth, or if the timber top rim is removed, via fixing holes that can be used as lifting eyes. After placement in position, the planter can be levelled via the adjustable feet in each corner. Given the heavy weight of a filled planter, the item can be left freestanding.
