The top frame has a wide U-shaped design and extends all the way over a hollow barrel-like bottom where the bottles can be stored in 2 open compartments. It’s deceptively large and tall enough to have enough room on each shelf even with the glass stem rack on the underside of the top in the upper half shelf. The outside of the barrel has an ash-wood style finish and is embellished with slender metal strips. The finish on the inside of the compartments is rich and warm wood brown which beautifully contrasts the exterior finish. There’s also a metal frame running throughout the outer length that acts as a footrest. The visual versatility of this solid reclaimed wood wine bar cabinet is totally unparalleled.
