Description
Pleiadi is a decorative tile made from cotton linters and natural clays, produced by a cold artisanal process. Cotton linters are the short fibres surrounding the seed after the first ginning; the second ginning yields very pure cellulose fibres typically used in paper, wadding, felts and viscose production. Pleiadi repurposes this by‑product into an ecological tile with excellent acoustic absorption despite a reduced thickness. The finish is the artisanal "nature" tone obtained by mixing natural earths without artificial dyes or mordants. Each tile can be installed horizontally or vertically to create varied compositions. As a handcrafted product, slight dimensional variations may occur.
