Hydraulic style porcelain tile collection in a retro and traditional aesthetic but with a renewed air, inspired in an original hydraulic paving design recovered in the refurbishment of a Venetian palace. This modular graphic motif gives a special prominence to the surfaces where it is laid, dynamising the spaces and contributing to improving their aesthetic in a very positive way.
Its play of geometries on two levels stands out, the lower one contains the luminosity of a light background on which a play of rhombuses is generated almost in tone on tone, within a palette of off-whites, while the upper one contains the power of solid colour, a duo of tones creates starry polygons with a play of rhombuses and arrowheads in different colour palettes.
Altea's graphic background is grainy like the original mix of cement, sand and pigments. In addition, although it is a unique design, there is a slight variation between the different graphics. Sinuous lines have been drawn by hand in the change from colour to colour, reproducing the imperfection generated by removing the different climbers and spacers used in the manufacture of the original hydraulic. In this way, multiple sides of the same pattern have been reproduced to give the product a greater sense of realism and a touch of craftsmanship.
Each of the three colours in which Altea is presented reflects and highlights different aspects and personal lifestyles.
The Burdeos tone reproduces the harmony of the complementary colours Antique Brass Garnet and Sea Emerald Green, evoking the sobriety of the most classic and timeless spaces.
